Oh Dave.

Fyasko is lucky enough to welcome the one and only Dave Ortiz (DQM / Dave’s Ware House) to be our eyes and ears on the streets of New York City.

So, here it goes – words from the man himself…

“Well I should let you people know who am I right? David Ortiz. Not the baseball player they call Big Papi – you know, the guy who’s on the Red Sox (side note I don’t like Boston). Nah, I’m just a real dude from New York born and raised in Brooklyn East New York section. I’ve worked for Zoo York skateboards then later opened a sneaker boutique called Dave’s Quality M3AT. I just recently opened up a new shop called Dave’s Wear House located in Chinatown.

I walk around and shoot photos of the city I remembered as a kid. And I’m gonna share this rare point of view of NYC cuz it’s slowly fading away and if I can hit you with some real meaningful shit and you like it, I hope it makes you love this place as much as I do. Enjoy…..”
